Friday Pie Day has been fun to do and a great way to introduce people to my delicious, homemade pies. I bake a small amount of 6″ mini pies and sell them for $5 each, pick up or delivery, on Fridays. It satisfies my need to bake different things all of the time and my customers get to try new items without having to make the commitment of a full sized custom order. Newsletter subscribers get to order as soon as they receive their Wednesday Newsletter, and then pre-orders are opened on Thursdays. Fridays are for eating pie! If I have any left, I sell them on Fridays until they are gone.
I would love for Friday Pie Day to become a tradition with my Sweet Bytes customers, a little holiday every week. I envision offices excited to receive their Friday deliveries and people looking forward to seeing what is on the Friday Pie Day Menu. With the 6″ pies being big enough to share they are also the perfect sweet ending to a special Friday night dinner for two.
